Column Technical Services is seeking an experienced Data Integration/Extraction Specialist to join a high-impact, short-term healthcare data migration initiative. In this fully remote consulting role, you will leverage your expertise to extract data from an InterSystems Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform, transform it into the Epic Care Everywhere Continuity of Care Document (CCD) format, and facilitate its successful integration into OnBase. If you have a proven track record with InterSystems, Epic CCDs, and complex healthcare data conversions, we encourage you to apply today.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and export data from the InterSystems HIE environment.
  • Convert extracted information into the Epic Care Everywhere CCD structure, including CCD/XSLT-based transformations.
  • Import and validate transformed data within the OnBase platform.
  • Maintain data quality, consistency, and completeness throughout all migration activities.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful data transfer and integration outcomes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, technical procedures, and workflow guides to support future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of healthcare data integration/interoperability experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms, preferably InterSystems.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, conversion, integration, and ETL methodologies.
  • Experience working with Epic Care Everywhere CCD documents and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Knowledge of OnBase or comparable enterprise content management/document management solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other tools used for data extraction, validation, and manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
