Job description

Overview
The Implementation Consultant II delivers best practice guidance, has advanced knowledge of integrations and appropriate configuration based on product combinations, manages customer deliverables and adheres to project timelines. The Implementation Consultant II should have knowledge of one or more products within a business unit, is responsible for data analysis, on-time implementations and backlog management for assigned customers.
The Implementation Consultant is accountable for ensuring a positive on-boarding experience, accurate solution configuration, successful end user training and a smooth handoff to Account Management and Product Support service teams.
Responsibilities
  • Acts as the liaison between the customer, business, and technical sides of the implementation project.
  • Accurately sets customer expectations for requirements and expected delivery dates.
  • Leads client through the implementation process ensuring a positive on-boarding experience.
  • Performs system setup and configuration ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Conducts review with customer prior to release to confirm acceptance of data and configuration.
  • Manages defect or problem resolution and provides client with accurate and timely updates.
  • Communicates any obstacles encountered that may hinder achievement of client commitments.
  • Ensures appropriate hand-offs and communication with other service teams.
  • Ensures the client needs are understood and translated properly to achieve desired results.
  • Completes Salesforces updates timely for assigned projects to ensure proper billing and reporting.
  • Resolve internal and external escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Adheres to defined processes, procedures and instructions from Solution Consultants or leadership.
  • Collaborates effectively with other professionals in the Success, Product and Development organizations.
  • Contributes innovative ideas to improve product, simplify processes and deliver services.
  • Expands personal development and expertise through continued education and industry experience.

Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in use of (based on Business Unit/Product) products.
  • Excellent communication with internal and external customers.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and various personalities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Flexible, detailed, and able to successfully accept and adapt to change.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in high paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Experience delivering superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to ensure deliverables are met.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in (based on Business Unit/Product) related position.
  • Certifications (based on Business Unit/Product - example CPA/PMP/LIHTC).
  • Prior experience in a customer facing consultative or training position.
  • Familiarity with RealPage products and Salesforce.
