Per Diem Immunization Clinician (RN, LPN, Pharmacist, or Qualified Immunizer)

About LTC Scripts
LTC Scripts is a leading long-term care pharmacy providing on-site vaccination clinics for assisted living facilities, memory care communities, behavioral health facilities, group homes, and other healthcare organizations throughout New Jersey.
We are seeking qualified healthcare professionals to administer vaccines at on-site immunization clinics on an as-needed basis.
Position Summary
The Immunization Clinician will travel to scheduled vaccination clinics and administer vaccines in accordance with applicable federal and New Jersey regulations, standing orders, and company protocols.
Most clinics are scheduled in advance and occur during normal business hours, with seasonal demand increasing during influenza, COVID-19, RSV, and other vaccination campaigns.
Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines safely and accurately
  • Screen patients for vaccine eligibility and contraindications
  • Review vaccine consent forms and documentation
  • Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits and potential side effects
  • Maintain proper vaccine handling and storage procedures
  • Document vaccine administration accurately
  • Follow all CDC, state, and company immunization protocols
  • Report adverse events according to established procedures
  • Maintain professionalism while interacting with residents, patients, family members, and facility staff
Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following:
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Licensed Pharmacist (RPh/PharmD)
  • Other healthcare professional legally authorized to administer vaccines under New Jersey law
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior immunization clinic experience
  • Experience with long-term care or assisted living facilities
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience administering influenza, COVID-19, RSV, pneumococcal, shingles, and other adult vaccines
  • Strong patient communication skills
Requirements
  • Current active professional license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout New Jersey
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during clinic events
