As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the direction and leadership of a product within Palco. The Product Manager at Palco is responsible for creating and execution of a product plan to help achieve our corporate goals and initiatives.

You are the key owner of your product roadmap and ultimately the creator of the vision that fuels the development teams. Key responsibilities include setting the vision for your assigned product to maximize penetration within Palco’s market space, prioritizing product and customer requirements to meet identified business needs, and managing internal and external relationships related to the product. The Product Manager collaborates with Palco’s Director and IT Teams to ensure goals are met, and that product efforts are aligned with the Company’s overall strategy and goals.

  • Be able to anticipate market and industry trends and client demands
  • Provide innovative new products and solutions that are imaginative, that are best for our clients, and ultimately further the core Palco objectives
  • Demonstrate a passion for understanding customer problems and creating innovative solutions
  • Gather and document product requirements from relevant parties
  • Manage key initiatives
  • Set clear product implementation direction for the implementation teams
  • Be responsible for product planning and execution through the product lifecycle
  • Be able to work with your product owner and corresponding IT teams to achieve your product vision and roadmap
  • A proven leader, able to influence at all levels of the organization
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively with others to influence development teams within an Agile framework
  • Strong technology background and proven aptitude for staying current with latest developments in software technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet implementation deadlines
  • Communicates clearly with internal and external users of the system, including presenting new ideas and listening to user feedback
  • Develop project plans to release new features to market
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage projects effectively

Education and Experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in Product Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field is preferred
  • Experience working with Healthcare or Self-Direction Programs is preferred
