Job Description – Sr Workday Analyst - Integrations (Remote)

Location:

  • USA remote position

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain accurate, effective, and scalable Workday processes for the following:
    • Core HCM processes
    • Advanced Reporting (Matrix/Composite a plus)
    • Integrations (including encryption and ISUs/ISSGs)
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with the HRIT team to prioritize work, build a strong partnership with HR internal customers, research options, and resolve complex Workday issues.
  • Operate independently to manage, advise, and guide project teams composed of HRIT, HR, Payroll, and Management involved in business process enhancements.
  • Direct the configuration, maintenance, support, and updates to Workday data, workflows, EIBs, integrations, and reports, both ongoing and semi-annual product releases.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, access, audits, and exceptions to protect sensitive data.
  • Maintain consistent and scalable methods, formats, processes, naming schemas, and documentation.
  • Proactively identify workflow issues and lead efforts to automate, replace, or improve them.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and support related integrations.
  • Design and build complex reports, dashboards, and hubs that provide accurate and actionable data.
  • Provide operational support and job aids for special projects, programs, and initiatives.
  • Remain current on new releases, updates, alerts, best practices, and continuous improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years (7+ preferred) of Workday experience and expertise (preferred: Certification) in the following:
    • Cross-Module expertise in key skillsets, including business processes, scheduled reports, alerts, notifications, calc fields, conditions, validations, eligibility, and MOM (Mass Operations Mgmt)
    • Core HCM processes (proficiency with Onboard, Hire, Change Job, Term, Position/Org Mgmt)
    • Reporting and Report Administration (Advanced required; Matrix/Composite preferred)
    • Integrations: EIBs, WWS, SOAP/REST/API, WD Studio, Cloud/Core Connectors, Transformations, JSON, EDI, SFTP, Encryption (PGP Public & Private Keys, etc.)
    • Security: ISU/ISSG setup and maintenance to support Integrations
  • Ability to troubleshoot, track, and resolve complex tickets using Service Now (preferred) or similar.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the interdependencies of Workday modules and an awareness of potential downstream impacts of configuration changes.
  • Experience building stakeholder relations, gathering requirements, and documenting scope changes.
  • Skilled at effectively and clearly communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Adaptable to quickly pivot to meet changing requirements and business needs.
