• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being to determine the appropriate therapeutic interventions and support.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique goals and challenges presented by each client, ensuring an evidence-based approach.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to manage mental health concerns effectively.
• Provide couples therapy sessions that foster improved communication, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement among partners.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and objectives.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client records including progress notes, treatment histories, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in marriage and family therapy to refine your approach and enhance client outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision, contributing to your professional growth and the overall effectiveness of our therapeutic services.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Family Health and Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse and varied patient population. Your clients will include children, adolescents, adults, and couples, each presenting unique challenges and therapeutic needs. You will utilize your expertise to address a wide spectrum of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and family dynamics, all while creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.
• Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon.
• Demonstrable experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy, with proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to synthesize client information to inform treatment planning.
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

• Experience working with a wide range of age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Competency in delivering virtual therapy services, including proficiency with various digital platforms to ensure a confidential and secure environment.
• Prior experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
