OVERVIEW

The Employee Experience & Benefits Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping how employees experience Azure Standard—both through the practical support they receive and the culture they live within each day. This role combines ownership of employee benefits administration with coordination of engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.


This position ensures employees clearly understand and can confidently access their benefits while also fostering connection, appreciation, wellness, and belonging across the organization. The Employee Experience & Benefits Coordinator partners closely with Employee Services, People & Culture, and leadership to create a supportive, mission-aligned, and people-centered workplace.



ROLE PURPOSE

To steward employee well-being, engagement, and connection through effective benefits administration and thoughtful culture and engagement programming.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Benefits Administration & Employee Support

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, voluntary benefits, and leave-related processes.
  • Administer open enrollment, new hire enrollments, life event changes, and terminations.
  • Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate setup, communication, and issue resolution.
  • Provide employee education on benefits offerings, enrollment processes, and wellness resources.
  • Support leave administration coordination (FMLA, state leave programs, personal leaves) in partnership with HR Operations.
  • Maintain accurate benefit records, documentation, and compliance tracking.


Culture, Engagement & Employee Programs

  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, appreciation events, celebrations, and culture campaigns.
  • Support onboarding experiences, welcome initiatives, and employee milestones.
  • Manage internal engagement programs such as wellness initiatives, morale activities, and community-building efforts.
  • Support engagement survey rollouts and action initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal communications related to employee programs, benefits updates, and engagement activities.


Wellness & Work-Life Support

  • Support wellness programs, EAP promotion, and work-life balance initiatives.
  • Help employees connect to wellness resources, benefits tools, and support services.
  • Collaborate on initiatives that reduce burnout and strengthen long-term employee sustainability.


Program Coordination & Continuous Improvement

  • Track participation, engagement, and benefit utilization metrics.
  • Prepare reports and insights for HR and leadership teams.
  • Gather employee feedback and support continuous improvement of benefits and engagement programs.
  • Maintain organized calendars, documentation, and vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, benefits administration, employee engagement, or program coordination.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, open enrollment processes, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting engagement initiatives, events, or internal programs.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HRIS platforms, and internal communication tools.
