Job description

Senior Forescout Engineer, DoD Comply-to-Connect (C2C)
Location: Sierra Vista, AZ / Remote
Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout SERVISS
At SERVISS, we deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity and IT solutions to government and commercial clients, with a mission to secure systems, data, and critical infrastructure through innovation and expertise. We don't just deploy tools; we engineer mission platforms that become foundational systems of record for cyber operations, compliance automation, and national cyber readiness. From CISA CDM to DoD mission enclaves, our work shapes how government sees, governs, and defends its digital terrain.
On DoD Comply-to-Connect (C2C) missions, our engineers deploy and operate the network access control platforms that ensure every device connecting to the network is authenticated, compliant, and continuously monitored.
Position Summary
SERVISS is seeking a Senior Forescout Engineer to design, integrate, deploy, and support Comply-to-Connect (C2C) network access control (NAC) solutions across DoD networks. In this hands-on senior role, you will lead the engineering and operational support of ForeScout platforms that discover, classify, and control every asset connecting to the enterprise, enforcing compliance and reducing attack surface at scale.
You will resolve complex networking challenges, tune platform performance and reliability, remediate STIG findings, and brief technical and government leadership on network posture and program progress.
The Work
This is a hands-on engineering role. The selected candidate will:
  • Design, integrate, deploy, and support ForeScout-based Comply-to-Connect (C2C) NAC solutions across multiple DoD networks
  • Establish and fine-tune network analysis and monitoring tooling, including platform health reporting and alerting
  • Optimize infrastructure stability, availability, reliability, and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues that span multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Perform DISA STIG remediation, document findings, and provide mitigation strategies
  • Configure ForeScout policies, plugins, and integrations for device discovery, classification, and compliance enforcement
  • Develop process, workflow, and architecture diagrams for C2C deployments
  • Deliver status reports and technical briefings to leadership and government officials
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for Forescout and C2C engineering across DoD network enclaves
  • Lead C2C implementation from requirements analysis through deployment and sustainment, and set engineering standards
  • Partner with government stakeholders and network owners to translate mission requirements into NAC solutions
  • Mentor engineers and support project lifecycle planning and execution
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • US citizenship
  • 6+ years of engineering experience in DoD environments (contractor, civilian, or military)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain within the hire timeline)
  • Forescout Certified Expert (FSCE) certification, Forescout Certified Deployment Specialist (FSCDS) credential, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Hands-on experience implementing NAC solutions, with deep TCP/IP networking expertise
  • Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills for complex network issues
  • Advanced administrator-level familiarity with Linux, Windows, macOS, and UNIX
  • Working knowledge of a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Perl, Java, or C) for automation and integration
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Visio for technical documentation and briefings

Preferred Qualifications
  • Forescout Certified Expert (FSCE) certification
  • Direct experience supporting DoD Comply-to-Connect (C2C) programs
  • Project lifecycle experience from requirements analysis through implementation and sustainment
  • Networking or telecommunications development background
  • Experience briefing senior government and military leadership
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity policy
