Position Overview

The Resilient Women's Health Hub is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time remote position calls for a mental health professional ready to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with various mental health challenges. You will play a vital role in providing evidence-based treatment and support to clients at our detox center, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health history, presenting concerns, and support needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the individual goals and challenges of each client.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy workshops that incorporate evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, case managers, and other professionals to create an integrated care approach.
• Engage with clients’ families, providing support and education to foster a comprehensive understanding of the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes women facing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use challenges. As a counselor, you'll engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, advocating for their interests and ensuring they receive culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; further education such as a master’s degree may be preferred.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Demonstrable expertise in various therapeutic modalities and an understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationship building with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or residential treatment setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention techniques.
• A background in working with diverse populations, enhancing cultural competence within therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $60,000 to $104,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
