Regular interaction via video meetings and phone consultations ensures that you remain connected with both colleagues and those you serve, despite the geographic distance.

• Perform detailed and comprehensive assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients, allowing for tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Design personalized service plans that incorporate distinct goals, intervention strategies, and regular progress evaluations, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students through various life challenges, fostering resilience and coping strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, educators, and family members to develop effective service plans that link them with vital community resources.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessment and safety planning, to ensure the immediate well-being of clients.
• Work in conjunction with local agencies to advocate effectively for clients' needs and facilitate access to diversified services.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of available resources and promoting our services.
• Engage in regular supervision sessions, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance service delivery and adhere to best practices in social work.

Our LCSW primarily serves school-aged children and their families, addressing a range of social determinants of health that affect their academic success and emotional well-being. Clients may be dealing with mental health issues, behavioral problems, or environmental difficulties such as unstable housing or family dynamics. Your role as an LCSW will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and access the supportive resources they need to thrive.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and familiarity with social and economic justice issues are highly beneficial.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and proven problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience in social work within a school setting or similar environment will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of local community resources and service coordination is highly desirable.
