As we continue to expand, weโ€™re looking for a dedicated Supervising Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and support to our network of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
Role Overview:
The Supervising Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing leadership, clinical supervision, and mentorship to a team of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) at Reparo Health. This role will ensure that our clinical team adheres to the highest standards of care while providing support for complex cases, treatment planning, and professional development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with a passion for collaboration and telehealth-based mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to a team of PMHNPs, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based care models.
  • Offer guidance on complex cases, including diagnosis and treatment planning for mental health conditions, particularly mood disorders.
  • Lead regular supervision meetings to discuss patient cases, clinical approaches, and professional development.
  • Review and approve treatment plans, documentation, and medication management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with North Carolina state regulations and telehealth guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Reparo Healthโ€™s leadership team to continuously enhance clinical protocols and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Serve as a resource for PMHNPs, fostering a learning culture and continuous improvement in care delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Board-Certified Psychiatrist with an active medical license in North Carolina (required).
  • Licenses in Texas, Illinois, or other states are a plus.
  • Experience supervising psychiatric professionals, preferably PMHNPs or advanced practice providers.
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills to effectively support and guide a clinical team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and improving access to mental health services.
  • Experience in a telehealth setting preferred.
