Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder); knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines; knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes; ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training; must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application. Inpatient and ED experience. 

Minimum 5+ years of inpatient coding experience required. -Strong expertise in 3M, Windows, and EPIC systems required. -Healthcare coding or health information certifications such as CCS, RHIA, RHIT, or CCP required. -Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day -100% Remote Must be on site for two weeks training– Candidates must be comfortable working in the Eastern Time Zone Skills:Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10Education:High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS,
