Job description

Our client is searching for a HL7 Integration Analyst for a long-term remote contract position.

Description:

The Systems Integration Analyst partners with Project Managers, Systems Integration Engineers, Developers, Support teams, and clients to implement and support healthcare data integrations. The analyst configures applications, validates HL7 interfaces, documents issues, contributes to testing, and supports

successful client implementations while developing expertise in healthcare interoperability.

Essential Functions:

1. Partner with clients to gather implementation requirements and clarify interface specifications.

2. Configure IHIE applications, provider files, delivery rules, report types, and implementation settings.

3. Review HL7 messages against IHIE implementation specifications using approved analysis tools.

4. Document implementation findings, issue logs, mapping discrepancies, and recommended corrective

actions.

5. Contribute to interface, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.

6. Monitor interface processing and identify structural, mapping, and data quality issues.

7. Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams.

8. Maintain implementation documentation, configuration records, and project artifacts.

9. Communicate implementation status, risks, and technical findings to clients and project teams.

10. Support multiple concurrent implementations while meeting timelines and quality standards.

11. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Customer-focused approach

• Ability to interpret technical specifications

• Working knowledge of HL7 v2.x preferred

• Basic SQL for validation and troubleshooting

• Experience with Microsoft Office

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
