Senior Java Solutions Architect
This is a leadership position for an accomplished software architect with outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of progressive experience in Java software product development, including significant leadership/architect roles.
Proven experience leading geographically distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
Demonstrated success in customer-facing solution architecture roles.
Technical Skills
Expert in Java, object-oriented design, and enterprise web technologies.
Strong applied knowledge of Java platforms and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Data Flow, JPA, and open-source Java libraries.
Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
Hands-on experience building and deploying Java web applications (for example, Apache Tomcat).
Solid understanding of database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and deployment automation (Octopus Deploy or similar).
Deep understanding of RESTful web services, authentication and authorization, session management, and security best practices.
Proficient in XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and AJAX.
