What is a remote history major?

Remote history majors are students who pursue a degree in history through online or distance learning programs offered by accredited colleges or universities. These programs allow students to study historical events, cultures, and research methods from anywhere, providing flexibility for those who may have work or family obligations. Remote history majors complete coursework, participate in discussions, and submit assignments virtually, often with access to digital resources and support from faculty.
