Position Overview

Maxim Healthcare & Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to provide vital psychotherapy services to patients facing a variety of mental health challenges, all while working within the supportive and well-resourced environment of a Hospice Center.

Work Environment

This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience. You will collaborate with a team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals through virtual meetings and consultations. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to meet the individual needs of patients, applying a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop detailed treatment plans that incorporate established best practices and solution-focused approaches.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations and uphold professional standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with fellow treatment team members to coordinate patient care effectively, ensuring holistic support across all mental health services.
• Provide educational resources and support for patients and their families, addressing mental health concerns and available treatment options.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care delivered.
• Stay abreast of current developments in mental health practices and integrate this knowledge into your therapeutic approach.
• Manage a full caseload of patients, ensuring that treatment objectives are met following ethical guidelines and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals managing chronic illnesses, mental health disorders, and facing end-of-life issues. Your compassionate approach will help patients navigate their emotional and psychological challenges during sensitive times, aiming to improve their overall mental health outcomes and support their journey toward healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience with a focus on individual psychotherapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in hospice or palliative care settings that enhances understanding of patient needs in end-of-life circumstances.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation procedures.
• Skills in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 83,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
