As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Summit Healthcare Group, you will:

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective treatment programs tailored to individual client needs, which may include trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis management.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client problems, strengths, and needs, maintaining a focus on enhancing the client's safety and confidentiality.

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong video conferencing abilities, requiring a reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, and a web camera.
• The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a consistent work ethic.
• A successful completion of a background check.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed to accommodate client schedules.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience in a community health or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology.
• Knowledge of culturally competent counseling practices.
