We're seeking a talented designer with a passion for creativity and a depth of expertise in graphic design, multimedia creation, and UI/UX design. If you thrive in the intersection of visual storytelling, brand development, and user-centered design, we want you on our team.
As a design specialist, you will play a hands-on role in helping clients and teams deliver impactful design solutions. Your advanced graphic design and multimedia expertise will allow you to produce high-quality visuals for digital and print platforms, including presentations, websites, marketing campaigns, infographics, motion graphics, and videos. Leveraging your knowledge of branding, you'll ensure that all deliverables align with organizational goals and maintain consistency in brand identity.
Your understanding of UI/UX principles will contribute to the creation of user-friendly, intuitive designs that help improve client workflows and enhance the overall user experience. You'll collaborate across cross-functional teams, including strategists, writers, and developers, to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design or multimedia, and producing high-quality visuals for online and offline platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, Acrobat, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with brand development and adherence to style guides to ensure consistency across deliverables
  • Experience creating layouts for digital print products such as websites, presentations, infographics, and marketing materials
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or XD, and user-centered design methods
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, take ownership of projects, and deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working with government or defense-sector clients
  • Experience developing accessible designs that comply with Section 508 standards
  • Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other basic web development tools to enhance collaboration with developers
  • Knowledge of trends in branding, multimedia, and user experience design
  • Ability to display a portfolio of video editing and motion graphics work
  • Master's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
