You will work closely with colleagues and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, creating a strong network to facilitate comprehensive client care.

• Conduct thorough intake interviews to assess clients’ presenting issues, gather comprehensive mental health histories, and formulate detailed treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide engaging one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches to effectively address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on improving communication, conflict resolution skills, and strengthening emotional bonds between partners.
• Engage with families to identify systemic dynamics, enhance communication patterns, and foster a healthy family environment.
• Draft individualized treatment plans that include specific goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment between therapy direction and client aspirations.
• Respond promptly to clients experiencing acute crises or distress, employing de-escalation techniques to provide immediate support and stabilization.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other necessary documentation to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to each client's treatment.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in the counseling profession, prioritizing client confidentiality and informed consent throughout your practice.

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing you with the opportunity to utilize your skills in culturally sensitive practices to address their specific needs and experiences.

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral science, social work, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona, with the ability to pass any required licensing examinations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple counseling approaches to effectively address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and clearly articulating therapeutic approaches and interventions.
• An understanding of and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing for more personalized and effective care.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing counseling services to varied client populations.
• Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals in a community setting.
