This position offers the flexibility of remote work, centering around telehealth practices. The work hours are structured, with a regular schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

• Conduct detailed initial evaluations of patients, identifying their specific mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and strategies tailored for each individual.
• Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as required to meet evolving needs.
• Educate both staff and patients about effective stress management and trauma coping mechanisms to foster healing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including social services and medical professionals, to ensure holistic patient care and access to necessary resources.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing education to maintain NCC certification and stay abreast of best practices in mental health care.
• Actively participate in community outreach programs that aim to bridge gaps in mental health services for trauma patients.

Our primary focus is on trauma injury patients, who often face complex emotional difficulties stemming from significant life events. As an LMHC at Adelante, you will have the privilege of guiding these individuals through their healing journeys. You will actively contribute to their recovery by providing empathetic counseling and tailored strategies that empower them to reclaim their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, ensuring a strong foundation in psychological principles.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license, permitting you to practice within Massachusetts.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected as it is fundamental to daily operations, documentation, and communication.
• Excellent communication skills are imperative for effective patient interactions and interdepartmental collaboration.

• Experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software is highly desirable as it enhances workflow efficiency and patient management.
• Background in developing community partnerships or involvement in outreach initiatives will be considered an asset.
