This position offers a remote work setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to provide care from their own environment while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. The work hours are typically structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. • Perform comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, accurately evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms through both interviews and standardized tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that resonate with their unique goals and therapeutic needs, ensuring their active involvement in the process.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring interventions to effectively address mood disorder symptoms.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies that promote mental well-being and resilience.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care, sharing insights and recommendations that contribute to holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to refine clinical skills and stay updated on the latest trends and research in mood disorder treatment.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, striving to reduce stigma around mental health issues and actively promoting mental health resources within the community.

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety-related disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele ranges in demographics, allowing for a rich and varied experience as you work to address their mental health needs. Your ability to connect and build rapport with individuals from different backgrounds will be instrumental in fostering therapeutic relationships that promote healing and personal growth.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specifically treating mood disorders.
• Proven expertise in adaptive therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in mood disorder interventions and treatments.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and building rapport with a diverse client population.

• Experience in teletherapy and virtual client engagement.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and practice management software for documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Participation in community mental health initiatives or outreach programs.
