• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns to develop accurate clinical diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using clinically validated modalities, adapting approaches based on the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Utilize effective crisis intervention strategies to support clients during acute mental health emergencies, guiding them towards stabilization and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, including treatment plans, therapeutic progress notes, and assessment outcomes, in line with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each client.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, available treatment options, and resources, while advocating for their rights and needs as appropriate.
• Engage in continual professional development efforts to stay updated on best practices and innovations in mental health therapy.

As a mental health counselor at Centuria Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and seniors facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients seek support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other emotional and psychological concerns. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering resilience and personal growth through tailored interventions aimed at meeting the distinct needs of each individual.

• Possession of a valid mental health therapy license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundation in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting focusing on telehealth services is highly desired.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a background in crisis intervention can be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote capacity, utilizing technology for client engagement.

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, offering between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
