• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand patients’ backgrounds, challenges, and needs, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting recovery and enhancing coping strategies.
• Maintain updated clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring that documentation is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and counselors, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health, recovery processes, and available resources.
• Stay informed about the latest research developments in mental health and substance use treatment to incorporate best practices into your work.

As an LCSW at our Detox Center, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing substance use treatment, many of whom may also be facing co-occurring mental health disorders. This collaborative environment requires a high level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and an understanding of the complexities of addiction and recovery, enabling you to provide effective support tailored to each patient’s unique situation.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapy methods, particularly in the context of substance use treatment.
• Strong communication skills capable of connecting with a diverse patient population and collaborating effectively with team members.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience working in addiction treatment, mental health counseling, or a similar environment.
