Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client's unique situation and needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific concerns.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy, fostering client engagement and progress.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, sharing insights and contributing to comprehensive care strategies for clients.
• Provide educational resources and supportive counseling to clients and their families, promoting understanding and involvement in the treatment process.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing a variety of challenges, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and related mental health issues. Our diverse clientele includes adults, adolescents, and families, allowing you ample opportunity to utilize your skills in various contexts, contributing meaningfully to their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex client needs.
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth technology and virtual counseling practices.
• Background in working with trauma survivors or individuals with severe mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of local resources and community networks in Norton, Kansas, would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
