The Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor will operate in a fully telehealth setting, utilizing technology to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes. The full scope of responsibilities for this position includes, but is not limited to:

• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to assist clients dealing with low self-esteem, familial challenges, substance addictions, and suicidal ideation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions, analyzing data to inform and adapt individualized treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments.
• Engage collaboratively with clients’ families, when appropriate, to monitor progress and behavioral changes, ensuring that an integrated approach to mental health care is achieved.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, allowing for the effective management of immediate client crises while ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
• Offer both telehealth sessions and face-to-face consultations as required, adapting treatment modalities to suit the needs of each client.

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, those facing challenges related to intellectual disabilities, and clients struggling with substance use issues. Your role is vital in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can address their challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth. You will advocate for client needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and referrals when necessary.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in good standing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• No prior history of Medical Malpractice Claims (verified by a third party).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Additional experience relevant to this role includes but is not limited to:

• Previous experience in a telehealth or remote counseling environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic client care.

Canvas of Emotion Healthcare Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with the level of experience and caseload.
