As part of our outpatient team, you will leverage technology to conduct therapy sessions virtually, ensuring accessibility for clients regardless of their geographical constraints. As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your primary duties will include:

• Collaborating with clients and their families to observe behavioral changes and responses to treatment, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the root causes of clients' difficulties, aiding in the development of tailored therapeutic plans.
• Referring clients to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder (SUD) specialists when necessary for further evaluation or treatment.
• Providing actionable recommendations and coping strategies to assist clients grappling with self-esteem issues, family dynamics, addiction, and suicidal ideation.
• Maintaining precise and organized documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, analyzing this data to track progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population that includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Your expertise will be particularly crucial in assisting clients navigating complex life situations, such as family dysfunction, poverty, or housing instability. By understanding their unique backgrounds and circumstances, you will play a vital role in their recovery journey.

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington State.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those involving virtual counseling, will be prioritized. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or substance use treatments may also enhance your application.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
