As a remote mental health counselor at Four Winds Therapy, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home. Our outpatient model allows you to engage with clients through various digital communication tools, ensuring that you can maintain a professional presentation while fostering therapeutic relationships in a safe, confidential virtual environment. • Design and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions that are aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Engage actively in crisis management by utilizing de-escalation techniques to support clients in challenging situations.
• Collect and analyze patient data continually to monitor progress, adjusting treatment approaches based on defined metrics and feedback.
• Maintain a structured schedule that allows for effective management of client appointments, case documentation, and follow-ups.
• Foster a collaborative therapeutic alliance with clients, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust.

You will work with a diverse range of clients who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. The role also emphasizes understanding pediatric mental health needs, catering to developmentally appropriate practices for clients across the lifespan. Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches is essential for effective engagement and support of our client population.

• A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Current licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or an Associate (LMHC-A).
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral or mental health setting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Current understanding of research in mental health, which may include professional training in psychedelic integration counseling.

• Proficiency in documentation practices and familiarity with teletherapy platforms and related technologies.
• Experience working with pediatric populations and a comprehensive understanding of developmental considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey clinical findings and treatment plans to clients and other stakeholders.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
