Unified Care NW is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic Primary Care Behavioral Health team. This full-time remote position is essential for providing high-quality mental health services that address the psychological and emotional needs of our diverse patient population.

Work EnvironmentIn this remote role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team. Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based clinical services to children and families in the community, adhering to best practice standards, which includes obtaining CANS certification within two months of hiring.

- Provide education and resources to clients, fostering their autonomy and enhancing their understanding of available community resources.
- Support the management of assigned clients by monitoring legal readiness assessments (LRA) and facilitating necessary extensions while coordinating with clinical response teams and court personnel.
- Utilize health information technology tools and data management systems to track client progress and maintain thorough documentation of services provided.
- Engage in regular case reviews with clinical peers to enhance treatment plans and outcomes.
This position focuses primarily on children and families from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing socioeconomic challenges or homelessness. You will encounter a wide range of behavioral health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. A deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these populations, as well as the resources available to assist them, is crucial for effective engagement and treatment.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is mandatory.
- A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential in Washington State.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on behavioral health.
- Specific training or experience in integrating behavioral health into primary care settings is preferred; however, we are willing to provide the necessary training.
- Demonstrable success in working with diverse populations and effectively addressing the needs of clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance structures, as well as related knowledge for navigating coverage and benefits.
- Experience working with unhoused populations and a strong understanding of the barriers they face.
- Proficiency in multi-disciplinary collaboration, particularly in a clinical environment.
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, Unified Care NW offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
