Who We Are
Lawelawe is a Native Hawaiian Owned Small Disadvantaged Business (NHO SDB) that specializes in providing a range of services to federal government clients, including program management, digital solutions, human capital and training. Lawelawe leverages our NHO status to secure federal contracts that not only drive business success but also support our overall mission to uplift economically disadvantaged Native Hawaiian families and preserve the Native Hawaiian heritage.
You Are
A mission-driven Senior Database Analyst with deep technical expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) operations and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. • Review and deliver technical solutions across the full development lifecycle-from ingestion through transformation and reporting.
  • Implement and manage advanced job scheduling/monitoring to ensure 24/7 reliability of ETL pipelines.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including data flow diagrams (Visio), mapping specifications, and system architecture briefs.

The Team
Lawelawe Defense Inc ("LDI") is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) SDB. Lawelawe Defense offers an outstanding record of delivery on various projects encompassing: Program and Portfolio Management; Systems Engineering and Architecture; Network Engineering and Operations; Data Center Optimization and Operations; Desktop/Server and Application Virtualization.

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL database environments, including SQL tuning and schema management.
  • Must hold DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level III / Technical Level III certification.
  • Proven track record supporting data warehousing, XML/HTML, and open-source development environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex transformations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Additional Qualifications and Experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field with 10+ years of experience, OR BA/BS with 15 years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.

Salary
Dependent on Experience (DOE). Compensation will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
Benefits
We offer a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, which may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement savings plan.
The above job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
