The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position is designed for a remote working setting, allowing you the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while engaging deeply with your clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards, to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop and implement positive behavior support plans in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that all interventions are well-coordinated.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that all services meet the required quality and ethical standards.
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients and facilitate their access to resources.
• Maintain open communication channels within the team and the community to uphold our mission and service contracts effectively.
• Establish and strengthen partnerships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote our programs and identify new opportunities for collaboration and funding.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, attending conferences, participating in training, and representing the agency at various events to enhance your skills.
• Promote and embody the organization’s mission, values, and ethical principles in all aspects of your work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall operations of the counseling team.

In your capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will engage with diverse client populations, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and culturally competent care that addresses their specific circumstances.

• A Master's Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
• Possession of an Independent LMHC License is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and continuous learning in the mental health field.

• Experience working with diverse populations or specialized training in areas pertinent to our practice such as trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, or developmental disabilities.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting or telehealth services is advantageous.
