Peaceful Mindcare Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct therapy sessions with clients in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to scheduled appointments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and interpersonal issues.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches to encourage clients in overcoming personal obstacles and achieving their therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care and referrals when necessary, prioritizing clients' holistic well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation and records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including supervision and training sessions, to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse set of clients, welcoming individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and life experiences. Your patient population may include adolescents grappling with identity issues, adults navigating relationship challenges, and families seeking support for trauma or addiction-related issues. Your role will be vital in fostering a welcoming, empathetic space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in Oregon.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and experience with treatment planning.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with a focus on clear, empathetic dialogue.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing teletherapy or virtual counseling services.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapy frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Training or experience with specific population groups such as LGBTQ+ individuals, culturally diverse communities, or bereavement.
Compensation and Benefits
