Founded in 1977, All Flex Solutions is a leading provider of specialty flex and rigid flex circuits, flexible heaters, and value-added assemblies for mission and life critical applications. All Flex Solutions products can be found in many applications and markets, including medical, defense, aerospace, semiconductor, industrial and telecommunications.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven individual to fill the role of Sr. Business Development Manager. This exciting, blended role encompasses both strategic business development initiatives and proactive sales efforts within the rigid-flex circuit and/or flexible circuit industry. The successful candidate will possess technical know-how and previous experience in these industries, enabling them to drive growth, identify new opportunities, foster client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.

The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to grow revenue through proactive outbound touchpoints to new customer contacts, as well as existing customer contacts and prospect accounts. A key responsibility of the role is to understand the customer's project development cycles and timing follow-up to ensure we secure the business opportunity.

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within Defense and Aerospace Market.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies tailored to the rigid-flex circuit and/or flexible circuit sector, expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
    • Develop/maintain strong relationships with senior level key decision makers. This will typically be engineers and engineering management but may include procurement as well.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads within this niche, proactively seeking out new avenues for growth.
    • Initiate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the rigid-flex circuit and/or flexible circuit industry, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
    • Lead the sales process within the Defense and Aerospace Market from prospecting to closing deals, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored specifically to the unique needs of prospective clients in these industries.
    • Leverage your technical expertise to understand client requirements, positioning our rigid-flex and/or flexible circuit products/services as invaluable solutions.
    • Negotiate terms, contracts and pricing to ensure favorable outcomes for both the company and the client.
    • Establish enduring client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
    • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all business development and sales activities related to rigid-flex and flexible circuits in CRM software.
    • Travel 25% to 50% expected.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales roles within the rigid-flex and/or flexible circuit industry, with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Deep technical understanding of rigid-flex and/or flexible circuit manufacturing processes, materials, design considerations, and industry standards (IPC Standards).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a sharp ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within these specialized sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the capacity to establish rapport and credibility with clients while navigating technical intricacies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented individual with a passion for achieving targets while embodying the All Flex Solutions vision, mission, and culture.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Person (ITAR compliant)

We offer a competitive base salary in the $110,000 to $130,000 for this Sr. Level range, and $80,000-$90,000 for our more junior range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
