Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience specializing in data analysis, writing queries, query optimization, reporting, and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL, coupled with experience in AWS RDS and tools like Jira, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining optimized, highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting by the Data and Analytics team and support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute complex queries in MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL to analyze and extract meaningful insights from datasets.

· Create and maintain reporting solutions that support business needs, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights through dashboards or reports.

· Support ad-hoc analysis by providing timely and efficient query solutions to business teams.

· Leverage AWS services, such as RDS and S3, to support data integration and reporting workflows.

· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.

· Create and maintain documentation for data processes, queries, and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

· Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on data analysis and reporting.

· Strong proficiency in MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL for query design and optimization.

· Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and related AWS services.

· Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights.

· Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualization tools.

Tools

· Proficiency with Jira for task and workflow management.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Python or similar programming languages for advanced data manipulation.

· Knowledge of Agile methodologies and task tracking tools.

· Familiarity with reporting tools.

· Nice to have: Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies to enhance data analysis, automate workflows, or optimize reporting processes.
