Title: Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst Location: 100% Remote Shift: Mon-Fri -- 8am-5pm (or) 9/80 schedule (w/every other Fri off) Duration: Temp ONLY -- thru April 30, 2027 Pay Rate: $41-48/hr on w2.
Position Summary
Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst
  • Under direction of the Project Geophysicist, supports the remedial action project at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA, by performing data processing and analysis tasks using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools.
  • The site is a formerly used defense site with potential unexploded ordnance contamination.

Responsibilities:
  • Working side-by-side with our AGC data processing team, producing high-quality data for our client
  • Demonstrating capabilities under Client DAGCAP program
  • Processing, analyzing, and classifying advanced EMI instrument survey data using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, and Client software tools

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of munitions response geophysical work experience, including field experience with geophysical equipment and positioning systems
  • Experience with BT Field or EM Class geophysical data processing software
  • Four-year degree in geophysics or related field
  • Good writing and oral communication skills

Desired:
  • Experience collecting data with AGC sensors (MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX or UltraTEM)
  • DAGCAP Certification for Data Processing and Classification
  • Experience processing LiDAR datasets including for SLAM positioning
  • Experience developing and modifying scripts to streamline processing workflows
  • Experience developing data processing tools and algorithms in Python or other languages
