• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their individual mental health needs, history, and goals.
• Develop and implement effective, personalized treatment plans that align with clients' objectives and preferred therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual counseling sessions via teletherapy, utilizing tools such as video conferencing software and telehealth platforms to ensure a secure and effective client experience.
• Establish realistic therapeutic goals with clients, tracking their progress and adapting strategies as necessary to facilitate their growth.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and collaboration with colleagues to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practices.

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients who may be facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. The telehealth model allows us to serve clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring that anyone in need receives the assistance they deserve.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to foster genuine therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude in dealing with clients' concerns and challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload effectively.

While candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply, those with prior teletherapy experience or specialized expertise in treating anxiety, trauma, and depression will be given priority. Experience in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation is also advantageous, as it contributes to the efficiency of our practice.

General Hope Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, based on the therapist's caseload, experience, and performance.
