Remote garment pattern making is the process of creating clothing patterns digitally or by hand, but working from a location outside of a traditional studio or factory. Communication with designers and production teams is typically done online, making the process flexible and accessible from anywhere. This approach is popular in the fashion industry due to its efficiency and ability to tap into global talent. Remote pattern makers must have strong technical skills and a good understanding of garment construction.
