This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining consistent contact with clients through our telehealth platform. You will collaborate with various healthcare professionals, including physicians, case managers, and fellow therapists, utilizing technology to ensure continuity of care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client's historical and current substance abuse patterns, mental health status, and treatment requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that simultaneously address substance use disorders and underlying mental health conditions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse treatment team, including healthcare providers and support staff, to coordinate integrated care for clients.
• Engage and support families of clients, providing relevant educational resources to enhance the recovery process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

The therapist will primarily work with individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse, including addiction to alcohol, prescription medications, and illicit drugs. Our clients often present with co-occurring mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, which necessitate a well-rounded therapeutic approach to care. The goal is to empower clients to reclaim their lives while fostering long-term sobriety through sustained support.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices is essential, with a focus on techniques relevant to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive treatment plans and skilled in facilitating group therapy.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care methodologies is a plus.

• Competitive annual salary between $70,000 and $85,000, determined by experience and professional credentials.
