• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, emotional status, and behavioral patterns, ensuring accurate diagnostics and effective treatment strategies.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs and aspirations of each client, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions across various formats such as individual, family, and group therapy, adapting techniques based on client feedback and progress.
• Actively monitor and document clients' progress within their treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to enhance outcomes and client engagement.
• Provide responsive crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health issues, employing swift and effective strategies to alleviate distress.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, safeguarding their confidentiality and dignity.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists, to deliver holistic and coordinated care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mental health and therapeutic practices through training and workshops.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and organizations, fostering trust and safety within the client-therapist relationship.

The therapist will support a diverse clientele requiring a variety of mental health services, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-focused care, and relationship challenges. Western Health Counseling Services aims to reach individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults, promoting an inclusive approach to therapy that respects and understands cultural differences.

• A Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Florida (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills complemented by a solid understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with team members.
