We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Medical Group Center's Detox Center in Tucson, Arizona. This full-time remote position allows you the opportunity to deliver crucial counseling services to individuals in need, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and embark on their journey towards recovery. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic interviews to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, guiding the development of individual treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated care and support for clients.
• Educate and counselor clients’ families to facilitate their involvement in the recovery process, encouraging strong support systems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records while adhering to strict confidentiality standards and regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse group of clients who are experiencing challenges related to mental health disorders, substance use, or both. Our client population typically includes individuals seeking detoxification services and stabilization, ranging from young adults to older adults. You will collaborate with clients to address their unique experiences and develop tailored strategies that empower them to achieve their personal recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree specifically in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Documented experience of at least two years in providing mental health counseling, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices relevant to mental health and substance use disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or treatment center, particularly with clients facing co-occurring disorders.
• Advanced training in evidence-based therapy modalities.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in mental health and counseling.

• A competitive salary range of $60,000 to $104,000 yearly, based on experience and credentials.
