Remote Games User Researchers are professionals who study how players interact with video games by observing and analyzing their behavior, feedback, and experiences, all conducted remotely using online tools and platforms. They help game developers understand what players enjoy, what challenges they face, and how to improve the overall gaming experience. By conducting surveys, playtests, and interviews with participants from various locations, remote researchers can gather diverse insights without needing in-person sessions. This role is crucial for making data-driven decisions that enhance game design, usability, and player satisfaction.

To thrive as a Remote Games User Researcher, you need a background in psychology, human-computer interaction, or related fields, along with strong analytical and research skills. Familiarity with usability testing tools, survey platforms, video conferencing software, and experience with data analysis tools like SPSS or Excel are typically required.
