MegaZebra has been successfully crafting category-leading games for more than 10 years. You can now join us on an epic journey as we craft a groundbreaking, new mobile game that blends mind-bending arcade gameplay with immersive RPG elements.

By combining technology, game-design, art, analytics, and bringing together passionate people from around the globe we have repeatedly been able to produce hit games. We are based in Munich/Germany and Montreal/Canada.

We develop all our games in small and vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. We are looking for a level designer based in Montreal or North America to work on one of our new titles.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Level design for a new game at the intersection of the arcade- and RPG genres
  • Create and implement exciting levels, which keep bringing new challenges to players
  • Balance levels based on data from analytics in order to optimize KPIs such as win-rates, retention, and monetization
  • Prepare and execute special and seasonal events
  • Work closely withgame designers and economy designers


YOUR PROFILE


  • 2-3 years experience in level design for mobile games
  • Strong interest and passion for arcade type games
  • Creative- and out-of-the-box thinker
  • Strong player empathy
  • Ability to analyze data in order to optimize levels
  • Familiarity with Unity is a plus
  • Strong desire to deliver results and ship top quality titles
  • Self-organized and self-motivated way of working
  • Strong team-player mentality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
