Job Summary:


Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced Integration Consultant to support the GO.gov travel modernization initiative by designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integrations between SAP Concur and enterprise systems. The consultant will play a key role in integrating travel, expense, financial, HR, identity management, and third-party applications using middleware and API technologies to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across the federal travel ecosystem.


The ideal candidate has experience implementing SAP Concur, enterprise integration platforms, and middleware technologies in a Federal Government environment. Experience supporting travel modernization initiatives, API development, cloud integration, identity management, and financial system interfaces is highly desirable.


Duties, Responsibilities, & Skills:


· Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations between SAP Concur and enterprise applications.

· Develop and support interfaces between SAP Concur and ERP, HR, financial, payroll, identity management, and third-party systems.

· Build and maintain REST, SOAP, and API-based integrations using middleware platforms.

· Configure and support SAP Concur APIs, web services, event-driven integrations, and data exchange processes.

· Develop integration mappings, transformation logic, routing rules, and error-handling procedures.

· Collaborate with business analysts, architects, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to define integration requirements.

· Perform integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and production validation.

· Troubleshoot interface failures, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

· Develop technical specifications, interface documentation, data mapping documents, and operational procedures.

· Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and production support.

· Ensure integrations comply with federal security, privacy, and data governance requirements.

· Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

· Coordinate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams to support end-to-end integration solutions.



Requirements

· 5+ years of enterprise integration experience.

· 3+ years implementing or supporting SAP Concur or enterprise SaaS integrations.

· Experience integrating enterprise applications using middleware platforms.

· Experience developing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and web service integrations.

· Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation technologies.

· Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth, SAML, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

· Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience supporting the GO.gov program or other Federal travel modernization initiatives.

· Experience implementing SAP Concur Government Edition (CGE).

· Experience integrating SAP Concur with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, or other enterprise financial systems.

· Experience working within Federal Government environments.

· Familiarity with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government travel business processes.

· Experience with cloud integration platforms such as:

o SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

o MuleSoft

o Dell Boomi

o Microsoft Azure Integration Services

o IBM App Connect

o Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

· Experience integrating identity management solutions such as Okta, Azure AD, Entra ID, Ping Identity, or Active Directory.

· Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.


Minimum Education:


· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field.
