Job description

We are hiring an Oracle Fusion Cloud - HCM Payroll Functional Analyst/SME with extensive experience in the HCM Payroll module.
 
Work can be done remotely but must be performed during regular business hours in the Eastern time zone from a location inside the US.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with defining business processes and scenarios, attending and participating in team training, attending and participating in prototyping sessions, reviewing and providing feedback on all material for the Payroll module.
  • Analyze existing system issues and perform troubleshooting to identify root cause and possible solutions
  • Assist in running payroll processes and help resolve issues as they occur
  • Assist in running year end processes
  • Read existing documentation and configuration to understand how the payroll system is configured
  • Recommend the adoption or rejection of new functionality as it is made available by the Oracle.
  • Participate in design sessions for new system enhancements.
  • Assist with defining test scenarios, review system test results, record test results, and provide feedback, develop user acceptance test scripts, coordinate the execution of user acceptance test and record test results.
  • Define process-based training scenarios, review training materials and provide feedback, serve as a resource to answer questions during core end-user training, conduct training sessions.
  • Participate in activities related to production cutover - including the review of a production cutover script, participate in the development and assessment of go-live readiness items, and identify contingencies and workarounds.
  • Serve as the internal primary point of contact for the Payroll module.
  • Create, maintain and update documentation, policies, procedures, training guides, etc. on a regular basis.
  • Have ownership and accountability for engaging outlying departments/divisions in discussions centered on current and proposed process changes.
QualificationsRequired
  • Proven track record in implementing and/or supporting the Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll module.
  • Expert level understanding of the following Payroll functionality: Payroll Definition & Setup, Elements & Earnings/Deductions, Fast Formulas, Payroll Run Processing, Balances, Tax Withholding & Compliance (US), Deductions, Costing, Payments & Disbursements, Payroll Relationship & Assignment Model, Time & Labor Integration, Absence Integration, Year-End & Regulatory Reporting, and Audit & Reconciliation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must agree to be 100% dedicated to this project only during the period of employment

W2:    $110,000 - $145,000 / year
C2C:   $70 - $95 / hour
