This role is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth platform that enables counselors to connect with clients in a safe, convenient manner. • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while providing a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor clients' progress toward their therapeutic goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their mental health needs.
• Offer teletherapy sessions, ensuring that clients who require accessibility options can receive the mental health support they deserve.
• Keep meticulous and accurate documentation of client progress, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advances in mental health practices.

As a mental health counselor at Mind Coping Strategies, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our holistic approach emphasizes understanding each client’s unique background, cultural context, and personal experiences to tailor interventions effectively. • A current and valid license in the state of Nevada as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide empathetic support, establishing a safe therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload and complete administrative responsibilities.

• Experience in teletherapy or providing remote mental health services is greatly valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a demonstrated ability to apply them in practice.
• Experience working with diverse client populations, including varying age groups and socio-economic backgrounds.
