Key Responsibilities Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with Deel's strategic objectives Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and investment returns Perform company valuation analysis including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuations Support due diligence processes including financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysis Analyze target company financial statements, revenue models, and cost structures Prepare internal investment materials, financial analyses, and decision-support presentations for leadership Assess cross-border tax structures, payments infrastructure, regulatory licensing requirements, and legal entity implications of potential acquisitions Coordinate closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during transaction evaluation Support negotiation and structuring of acquisition transactions in collaboration with internal and external advisors Develop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting, systems, and operational processes Align acquired entities with Deel's accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and internal controls Support integration of financial systems, ERP structures, and reporting processes Monitor post‐acquisition integration progress and identify operational or financial risks Identify process improvements and operational synergies following acquisitions Maintain documentation and analysis supporting strategic transaction decisions Qualifications 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory Strong financial modeling and valuation experience Experience building DCF models, multiples analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and football field valuations Understanding of cross‐border tax considerations, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks Legal and tax background is preferred; CPA qualification is a strong advantage Strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities Ability to manage complex cross‐functional projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
