Nanak Foods is hiring an ambitious and dynamic Territory Sales Rep who would be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets in Dallas, Texas. This is a remote position and involves regional travel within the sales territory. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for actively prospecting new clients, presenting Nanak Foods products and closing sales deals.

About Our Client From modest beginnings, Nanak Foods is now North America's largest processor of traditional dairy-based South Asian foods. Established in 1997, and wholly owned by Canadian shareholders of South Asian descent, Nanak Foods specializes in the manufacturing of paneer cheese, ghee (clarified butter), yogurt and various dairy-based appetizers and desserts. Nanak Foods manufacturing facilities are CFIA, FDA and EU approved and have Safe Quality Food (SQF) level 3 certification ensuring continual monitoring for quality, safety and legality.

About You You are an ambitious and dynamic sales professional with experience in regional or territory sales in the food manufacturing / processing industries in California and other states. You have proven ability to prospect, present, negotiate, and close deals.If you have a existing network within Ontario and the Maritimes region for grocery retail industry, it will be considered as a strong asset. Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation: Actively prospecting for new clients, presenting products, and closing sales deals

Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales opportunities. Territory Management: Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within their designated area to develop effective sales strategies. Sales Reporting: Tracking sales performance, forecasting sales, and reporting on regional sales results.

Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the Nanak Food's products to effectively address customer inquiries and demonstrate value. Requirements Sales Skills: Proven ability to prospect, present, negotiate, and close deals. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Customer Relationship Management: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address customer concerns, resolve issues, and adapt to changing market conditions.

Product Knowledge: Understanding of the Nanak Food's products and services to effectively address customer needs; product knowledge in dairy industry is a strong asset. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Prior sales experience (preferred). Existing network within Ontario and the Maritimes region for grocery retail industry is a strong asset. Hindi or Punjabi verbal communication is essential for this role.
