You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, social workers, and case managers from our community health clinic, leveraging technology to maintain communication and track client progress. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' substance use history, mental health status, and specific treatment needs.
• Formulate personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing both the addiction and the associated mental health issues, utilizing data-driven methods.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing established techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support recovery.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with treatment team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to each client’s care, including regular updates on progress and challenges faced.
• Guide and educate the families of clients, fostering understanding and encouraging their participation in the recovery process to promote holistic healing.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards by meticulously maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

Our primary focus is on adults experiencing substance use disorders in conjunction with co-occurring mental health conditions. You will address a diverse clientele, providing tailored support that recognizes the complexities of each individual’s background and circumstances. Understanding that recovery is a personal journey, your role will involve crafting effective strategies that resonate with the unique challenges faced by each client.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Specialized training or pertinent experience in addiction counseling, demonstrating a commitment to this critical area of mental health.
• Expertise in evidence-based practices specific to substance abuse and co-occurring mental illnesses.
• Excellent therapeutic skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and enhance their motivation throughout the recovery process.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues across disciplines.

• At least two years of relevant experience working with addiction and mental health issues in a clinical setting.
• Previous experience in a community mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting treatment plans and progress.
