We're looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who will play a key role in supporting the bank's financial strategy and decision-making processes. This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to drive informed business decisions and ensure financial health. The FP&A Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

What You'll Contribute as the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Financial Planning, Models, and Reports

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, coordinating with business units, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and cost management projects.
  • Monitor and report on the bank's financial performance against targets, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing financial guidance as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements.

What You'll Leverage in this Role:

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles. Strong plus if within banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a strong plus.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
