The Finance Operations & Analytics Analyst supports BNETโ€™s efforts to improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and reporting consistency by connecting finance, operations, and data.

This role combines foundational FP&A, process improvement, and analytics responsibilities to support reporting, planning, and workflow optimization. The analyst helps translate business activity into useful financial insight, contributes to standardized reporting and process documentation, and assists in building scalable tools and dashboards that improve decision support.

The role is well suited for a detail-oriented analyst who can work across functions, organize and interpret data, and contribute to practical improvements in both financial insight and operational execution.

Financial Analysis & Decision Support
โ€ข Support analysis of financial and operational performance across assigned processes, functions, or business activities, including budget vs. actuals, expense trends, productivity, cycle time, and drivers of results.
โ€ข Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting that helps explain performance trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership and business partners.
โ€ข Assist with forecasting, planning, and variance analysis by linking underlying business activity to financial outcomes.
โ€ข Help track KPIs that improve visibility into financial operations performance and support decision-making.

Process Mapping, Standardization & Improvement
โ€ข Support efforts to map, review, and improve finance-related operational processes, including handoffs, controls, bottlenecks, data dependencies, and decision points.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve cycle times, and standardize repeatable workflows.
โ€ข Partner with stakeholders to document current-state processes and help implement practical process improvements.

Data, Reporting & Analytics Enablement

Data Quality, Controls & Governance

โ€ข Support maintenance of business rules, KPI logic, and metric definitions to improve consistency and auditability.
โ€ข Partner with finance, operations, and systems teams to improve data quality and reduce reconciliation effort.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Change Enablement
โ€ข Work across finance, operations, and data teams to help translate business needs into actionable reporting and process solutions.
โ€ข Support adoption of improved processes, reporting tools, and standards through documentation, training support, and stakeholder coordination.
โ€ข Contribute to reusable templates, reporting standards, and best practices that strengthen BNETโ€™s finance operations and analytics capabilities.


Required Qualifications
โ€ข 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, financial operations, analytics, business process analysis, or a related function.
โ€ข Experience with financial analysis, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
โ€ข Experience using Excel and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create dashboards and reporting solutions.
โ€ข Exposure to structured data and the ability to write or interpret SQL queries, or comparable data extraction and transformation skills.
โ€ข Ability to document processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
โ€ข Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize findings clearly for business stakeholders.
โ€ข Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Experience in insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment with strong data integrity and control requirements.
โ€ข Familiarity with finance systems, planning tools, or ERP/reporting environments.
โ€ข Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence disciplines.
โ€ข Experience supporting reporting automation, standardization, or workflow improvement initiatives, including, but not limited to, Power Automate.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Data Analytics or a related Field
