The Sr. Business Analyst is someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, process optimization, and technology enablement. This role partners closely with business leaders, product, and technology teams to uncover opportunities, define clear requirements, and translate complex problems into actionable insights and solutions. The Analyst will lead and support discovery and implementation analysis efforts by collaborating with required teams to inform and support the business and digital transformation initiatives within the FA- Title Group of Companies.
The role will directly support key business & technology efforts within First American including A.I. transformation projects. We welcome candidates with demonstrated experience supporting A.I initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Partners & Collaborates: Works directly with internal and external customers (business leaders, technology leaders, SMEs, other partners) to understand business problems and analysis needs and support initiatives.
  • Plans Approach: Understands business context, goals, challenges, baseline metrics and develops stakeholder list and the required analysis approach to proceed with analysis.
  • Discovery: Conducts and documents the business & system discovery including current state processes, capabilities, value streams, systems, data, etc. using best practices.
  • Identifies user needs: Conducts required research (primary and secondary) to gather qualitative insights, feedback and understand change impacts. Participates or leads working sessions, workshops or interviews to elicit and document business needs and requirements.
  • Analysis: Analyzes findings to identify gaps, change impacts, challenges assumptions and identifies opportunities within people, process and technology domains.
  • Leads Data Analysis: market, financial, operations, organizational data analysis and synthesizes large volumes of data to identify trends, derive insights, validate hypothesis and inform decisions
  • Shares Recommendations: Synthesizes information to develop high quality executive presentations and readouts using appropriate tools. Shares insights backed by strong business case and data, including recommendations (people, process and technology) that drive measurable business outcomes and informs future state.
  • Future State Design: Supports development of future state design by documenting business requirements and target state capabilities, processes and features as needed.
  • Supports Implementation: leads business requirements elicitation and solution documentation, translates business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, maps system and data definitions as required. Supports testing to confirm alignment with business goals. Collaborates with required teams like Project, Research, Product, Change Management etc. for project implementation.
  • Creates and maintains required artifacts: Creates clear documentation and required artifacts (e.g. requirements documents, process maps, context diagrams, value stream maps, capability maps, findings, User stories, etc.) using industry best practices within Business Analysis and Business Architecture to bring clarity in communication with stakeholders
  • Leads and manages multiple, concurrent deadline-driven projects, and ensures efforts are aligned, priorities considered and timelines met
  • Contributes to the Strategic Analysis Center of Excellence
  • Leads other tasks as identified by management team which support the business objectives

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Business Management or B.S Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge leading or supporting analysis within A.I transformation projects and process optimization. The role will partner with operations to identify potential A.I opportunities, use cases and exploratory efforts.
  • Be an active user of A.I tools beyond basic prompting, with experience developing or guiding solutions with real business impact. Experience with Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Co-pilot or other A.I powered productivity tools is a plus.
  • Be a top-notch communicator and have advanced presentation skills. You will be facilitating group discussions, analyzing and presenting information to stakeholders, including but not limited to executives.
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis and/or process improvement skills with experience of working directly with business users on Research & Discovery or transformation projects.
  • Role requires someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and has analytical and problem-solving chops to analyze a situation, break down work components, formulate questions, complete root cause analysis and facilitate discussions with SMEs for deeper knowledge/ understanding
  • Strong business lens with experience of partnering with technology teams and IT practices
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office tools like PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly, synthesize high volumes of information and data

Salary Range: $75,400.00 - $125,600.00 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
