Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health statuses, ensuring you gather comprehensive information to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop individualized therapeutic plans that incorporate client feedback, therapeutic goals, and evidence-based practices to address specific issues.
  • Provide regular counseling sessions, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices to foster client engagement and progress.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain up-to-date client files, ensuring that all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will connect with a varied patient population, including individuals facing substance abuse challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid licensure in the state of Kansas as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW.
  • A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, including both individual and group therapy settings.
Preferred Experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of mental health disorders and experience applying effective therapeutic practices grounded in empirical evidence.
